Stille Nacht
Stille Nacht - performed by "Die Toten Hosen" ("Die Roten Rosen")
Oh Tannenbaum / Oh du fröhliche
Kling, Glöckchen, klingelingeling
Vom Himmel hoch da komm ich her
Morgen, Kinder, wird's was geben
Leise rieselt der Schnee
Alle Jahre wieder / Ihr Kinderlein kommet
As you all know, you have a speaking assessment coming up before the end of term. In order to get the best levels, you need to be able to use all 3 tenses. You are going to practise your tenses this lesson, by following the link to Languages Online (by clicking here). When you finish each exercise, click on the button that says 'zur nächsten Übung' to move to the next exercise.
Perfect tense
In the left-hand menu, click 'Deutsch'. Scroll down to 'Logo 2 units' and click on 'Perfect tenses for beginners'. Work through the exercises. You might find these exercises a little too easy - if you do, move on to the next section.
Go back to the 'Deutsch' menu, and then scroll down as far as 'Grammar'. You should first work through the exercises for Perfect tense (2), then Perfect tense (3).
Future tense
Go back to the 'Grammar' section of the 'Deutsch' menu, and select 'Talking about future plans'. On the 'Talking about future plans' menu, start at exercise 10, as this covers what you have learned about the future tense.
Finally, you should go back to the Grammar section, and select 'Mixed tenses revision' and work through those exercises.
This is a lot of work, so you will need to be trying your best to get through it!
Pupils should re-read the shop conversation we did in today's lesson. You should then find the french phrases. Write up the french and english phrases in your exercise book. Title: au magasin - at the shop
Hand in the homework to Miss Lupton on Tuesday 8th December
Make sure you learn how to say the key phrases off by heart
Here is this week's homework sheet. You do not need to print off the sheet but please answer the questions in the back of your exercise book. Please bring to Mrs Pysanczyn's next French lesson - Tuesday 1st December.
