General Conversation Podcast Transcripts

Here are the transcripts of the podcasts posted previously. You can use these for two purposes: firstly, to read whilst listening to the podcasts, and secondly, you can redraft the answers so that they apply to you, then learn them for your speaking exam. It is very important that you do not simply use the answers as they are in the podcasts, as this is not allowed by the exam board, however using the podcasts as a template for creating your own answers is fine.

So, here they are - just like with the podcasts, if you right-click the file(s) you want and then click 'Save Target As...', you will be able to save the files directly onto your computer.

Below are mp3 files for you to download - they cover all 6 topics that can come up in your GCSE speaking exam as part of your general conversation (the part after your presentation and discussion). They are available in both French and German, and also at Foundation and Higher tier.

Simply right-click the links below and select 'Save target as...' to download the mp3 files for the language and tier that you will be doing in the exam, store them on your computer or on your mp3 player and listen to them to get ideas for what you could say in your own speaking exam.
